Out of BMT... On with a new hobby...
It's finally over. 16 weeks, 6 route marches covering a total of 70km, a grenade throw, an M16 live shoot, a hellish Battle Innoculation Course(BIC), an even worse Basic Assualt Course(BAC) numerous aqua-jogging lessons and brisk walks later, I have finally became the trained soldier that the SAF set out to mold a mere 4 months ago. Life in BMT was tough but i guess that they would be the best days in army. But the main thing is that it's over. But 4 months do seem to pass pretty quickly. I still remember the day I enlisted, walking around like a blur sotong, not knowing what to expect of BMT. Oh well, time flies when you're enjoying yourself. I passed out on 26/03 and by the next day, i managed to get down to Parklane despite my blisters and pick up the F-16 I had been working on since December. I did it in the colours of the Republic of Singapore Air Force. Well, the pics screwed up but anyway, it turned out pretty good I must say.
